West Yorkshire Animals in Need is a local charity formed by animal lovers with the intention of offering support to both needy animals, whatever the species, and those who care for them -making a positive difference to animal welfare.

All at West Yorkshire Animals In Need are volunteers.

Our aims, taken from our Governing Document and approved by the Charity Commissioners for England and Wales, are:

To educate and inform the public on how to act responsibly and with best practice for animal care and welfare -companion, domestic and wild, and on how this can be achieved in a practical, sustainable and responsible way.

To support local animal welfare charitable trusts, associations, institutions or sanctuaries specialising in the rescue, care and re-homing of animals.
