West Yorkshire Animals in Need is a local charity formed by animal lovers with the intention of offering support to both needy animals, whatever the species, and those who care for them - making a positive difference to animal welfare.

We are all volunteers.

 Our aims, taken from our Governing Document and approved by the Charity Commissioners for England and Wales, are:

To educate and inform the public on how to act responsibly and with best practice for animal care and welfare -companion, domestic and wild, and on how this can be achieved in a practical, sustainable and responsible way.

To support local animal welfare charitable trusts, associations, institutions or sanctuaries specialising in the rescue, care and re-homing of animals.
