We desperately need:

• Dog toys;
• Dog treats;
• Any dog collars and leads that you no longer use we will make good use of.

These are urgently needed for dogs that have been rescued from dog pounds and have sometimes been just minutes from death. These dogs are now safe in kennels or with fosterers and looking for new homes but in the meantime they need some toys, treats and plenty of walks - stimulation, fun and spoiling a little. This process is like painting the Fourth Bridge - it never ends. 

The dogs have had a terrible time so far and we want to make things better for them. Please help if you can.

Recycle your unwanted doggy things, or you can buy an item, and pop it into one of our brightly coloured food collection bins located in local supermarkets - the dogs will really appreciate it! 

The collection bins are located in:-

Tesco - Ilkley;

Morrison's - Yeadon, Guiseley and Skipton;

Sainsbury's - Keighley;

Dogsbody - Silsden.

OTHER ITEMS NEEDED:-

• 2 cat/dog pens;
• 2 large cat traps with perspex end panel;

...this will mean we can be even more pro active acting as a 'holding' place for more cats and dogs until they can be placed in cat and dog centres which are often full.

Do you have a contact who is the manager of a DIY store? If you do then please tell them about this appeal for help and ask them to contact us. A notice could easily be placed on these items stating who donated them! Great positive publicity - we could get the media involved...
