Thousands of dogs are abandoned each year through no fault of their own. All breeds, colours, shapes and sizes can be found in rescue centres throughout the country awaiting the right home where they can be loved and cared for in safety.

Please choose a dog from a rescue centre rather than a breeder or pet shop. Why? Because going to a breeder or pet shop only encourages the 'breeding' industry and more dogs will be bred that have inherent deformities or are simply unwanted.

With a rescue you also have much more choice and you are possibly saving a life - or at the very least giving a good home to a rescue dog that is in desperate need of one.
