Dogs can, and do, bring pleasure to people from many walks of life. Remember dogs do need regular daily walks and training.
You need to do your homework on which type of dog will best fit your requirements. It's no use choosing a 'Collie' breed if you don't have the time and energy required to stimulate this highly intelligent and hyperactive breed. Before you commit to a certain dog get to know it, take it on a few long walks and see how you get on together.
There are lots and lots of loving dogs ready to be adopted and to be loved and cared for. Give these dogs a second chance at happiness - they deserve it!
