Twas the week before Christmas and this little love was in a pound shivering with cold and fear...she was going to be put to sleep as no one had claimed her within the seven day period.

She is a Malteze cross (I'm not even going there!) ...crossed with a Bijon Frise and is the size of a bag of sugar with legs. She is just adorable! 

We rescued her and called her Snowball...quite apt as the freezing winter weather was definitely upon us.

Snowball needed quite a bit of veterinary treatment and she must have been suffering pain for years. She needed urgent dental work which involved quite a few extractions. Snowball also  had developed kennel cough which needed a course of antibiotics. A full course of inoculations were also required.

We had a lovely home for Snowball with a family in Silsden and she is such a contented little dog now and goes everywhere with the family who love her to bits!
