Alfie, a little Lhasa Apso, was rescued from a dog pound where he was due to be put to sleep as no one had claimed him.

Poor Alfie had various medical problems which needed immediate treatment and so it was straight off to our vet.

Alfie had 'cherry eye' which was very acute in both eyes as well as a double hernia and very bad teeth...he must have been in so much pain for many years.

Anyway, Alfie had special 'pockets' made for both eyes to enable the eyeballs to remain in their sockets, his double hernia was repaired and seven of his teeth were extracted and the remainder de scaled. He was healthy again!

We found Alfie the perfect home.

Alfie found a soul mate in Lynn and he is very, very happy and well looked after.
