REGULAR PUBLICITY...

FRESH RADIO

WYAIN are frequent visitors to the Fresh Radio studio to chat about various animal welfare issues and supply the newsdesk with any relevant 'animal' issues in the area. We work closely together on animal issues.

Tommi is the 'animal expert' on Fresh radio and you can listen to her on every alternate Tuesday on 'The Steve Joy Show'. Steve and Tommi chat on the animal topic of the week providing information on many animal issues which include wildlife as well companion animals.

There is also the 'wierd and wonderful silly question' which is featured and listeners can telephone in , e mail or text their answers. It really is good fun and has proved popular with Fresh listeners!

Tommi also features a 'Celebrity Animal Hero' and some unexpected people have emerged as animal softies. There is also the historical anecdote each session.

WYAIN also provide regular 'Fresh Action' promotional slots giving advice on things such as 'hedgehog hazards' and 'help with veterinary costs' etc. which are featured throughout the day.

WYAIN and Fresh Radio have built up a very strong relationship and have many successful stories with 'Fresh Pets' where lost and found animals have been re united with their owners.

This is a free service and you just need to log into the Fresh Radio website at www.freshradio.co.uk. Tommi edits this site for Fresh Radio helping to re unite owners with their lost pets.

THE YORKSHIRE POST

Sue Woodcok regularly features WYAIN in her weekly column of The Yorkshire Post 'The Dales Diary'.

WYAIN are proud to announce that Sue Woodcock 'The famous Dales Diarist' is our patron.

BBC 'LOOK NORTH'

WYAIN have appeared on Look North quite a few times covering animal issues ranging from hedgehog care to stolen puppies.

NEWSPAPER COVERAGE

WYAIN have regular features in newspapers such as 'The Ilkley Gazette'; 'The Keighley News'; 'The Telegraph and Argus'; 'Craven Herald' and 'The Yorkshire Post'.

Our most recent was a story regarding four abandoned puppies which hit the newspapers in the week commencing 7.2.2011.

Sainsbury's Easter Fundraiser 2010...

Every year the wonderful 'photoshop' girls support WYAIN and organise a raffle. WYAIN had some terrific prizes which included a BMX bicycle for older children and a meal for two at the famous Box Tree in Ilkley.

It's a valuable opportunity not only to raise much needed funds but also to raise awareness about the plight of wildlife in the UK. Hence the Bumblebee outfit!

'Bumble' was there selling the raffle tickets and generally causing chaos around the store! The raffle made over £1000 and the tickets were drawn by the Lord Mayor of Keighley.

The event was covered in both The Keighley News and The Telegraph and Argus.
